Refreshing, non-traditional, exactly how golf should feel in 2018. If you fancy looking the part both on and off the golf course this season, look no further than adidas Golf’s latest trend-setting ‘adicross’ line.
Aimed at the modern golfer seeking urban-inspired clothing and footwear, adidas Golf’s fresh adricross lineup features everything from anorak jackets, henley shirts and joggers to arguably the comfiest and stylish family of golf shoes on the market right now in Classic, Bounce and Crossknit 2.0.
What we love most about adicross is that it leverages adidas’ clothing and footwear styles from other sports and projects them for wear on the fairways. Make no bones about it, adidas Golf is not throwing all its eggs into the adicross basket this season – it’s just an extension to an all-encompassing family of golf clothing and footwear highlighted by Ultimate365 and Tour360.
The new adicross line is simply targetting a particular segment of the golfing population and for that, we applaud. It’s 2018 and not everyone wants to look like a traditional golfer.
For us, it’s great to finally see a brand thinking differently and pushing the boundaries where golf clothing is concerned as we all look to encourage new golfers into our beautiful sport and make them comfortable in doing so.
adidas Golf may have already been booming bigger than one of Dustin Johnson’s 400-yard drives, but the company not only wanted to listen to its people but also test itself in the process.

Don’t just take our word for the early success of the new adicross line since it launched at the beginning of 2018. Dustin Johnson is all over the introduction of adicross too.

Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at some of our favourite adicross designs on the market right now…
#1 – adicross Bounce shoes
Incredibly snug, soft and stylish. The perfect summer golf shoe.
These babies come in a range of different colour options and feature a sock-like construction and custom lacing system for comfort and stablity that give you extra ‘Bounce’ in your stride on the back nine.
adidas Golf’s new Bounce midsole enhances the feel, while its spikeless outsole provides durability and grip.
It also comes with a textile upper for lightweight comfort, and its offset wrapped saddle with multiple eyelet rows ensures custom lacing and added stability during the swing.
#2 – adicross Crossknit 2.0 shoes
With a sleek design inspired by casual shoes, the incredibly comfortable Crossknit 2.0 shoes feature ‘Boost’ – the brand’s most responsive cushioning ever – to return energy on every drive.
A breathable knit upper provides comfort as you swing without sacrificing lateral stability, and the midfoot strap lets you adjust the fit.
An elastic closure bands for an easy on and off fit, while a PU forefoot welds for stability and performance.
#3 – adicross Beyond 18 Knit jacket
This full zip jacket with stand-up collar offers outstanding coverage, while its moisture-wicking knit fabric provides breathability and a complete range of motion as you attack pins.
A woven adicross label finishes the hem, and it’s been engineered with stretch for additional comfort.
Available in sizes S-XL.
#4 – adicross Range Jogger Pants
You probably won’t see too many of these joggers floating around at St Andrews, but we’re all over these!
The stretch fabric in these jogger pants offers comfort, while a drawcord on the ribbed waist provides a secure fit.
A woven adicross label and tonal 3-Stripes finish the sleek look.
#5 – adicross Anorak
Let’s hope we don’t have to use this one too much this summer, but given we live in Britain you can be certain you’ll need it – especially during the Open Championship at Carnoustie in July.
Made for comfort and breathability, it features a half zip with storm hood and snap closures on the sleeves for outstanding coverage.
A water-resistant DWR coating finishes the jacket.
