Tiger Woods has won the British Open three times and is 25/1 to win in 2018.

The Westgate updated its British Open odds and there isn’t much movement among the top betting choices. Dustin Johnson remains the favorite at 12/1, while Tiger Woods is tied with four other golfers at 25/1. [Johnson is the No. 1 ranked
player in the world](https://www.pgatour.com/players/player.30925.dustin-johnson.html) with two wins and seven Top 10 finishes in 2018. His last two tournaments produced a third-place finish at the U.S. Open and a win in the FedEx
St. Jude Classic. Johnson finished T54 (+4) in last year’s British Open. [Woods](https://www.pgatour.com/players/player.08793.tiger-woods.html) is coming off one of his best performances of the year after finishing T4 in the Quicken
Loans National this past weekend. Woods shot -11 but couldn’t keep pace winner Francesco Molinari who pulled away from the field with a sizzling -21. Molinari has seen his British Open odds move from 60/1 to 40/1 after the win.
Woods, meanwhile, has placed in the Top 12 five times in 2018. Tiger won the British Open three times in 2000, 2005 and 2006. [Jordan Spieth](https://www.pgatour.com/players/player.34046.jordan-spieth.html), the defending British
Open champion, is tied with Rickie Fowler and Justin Rose as the third betting favorite at 16/1. However, Spieth comes into the British Open struggling. After posting a third-place finish at the Masters, Spieth has finished outside
the Top 20 in seven straight events and missed the cut three times. A couple of Swedish golfers who could make a run are [Alex Noren](http://www.owgr.com/Ranking/PlayerProfile.aspx?playerID=10419) (30/1) and [Henrik Stenson](https://www.pgatour.com/players/player.21528.henrik-stenson.html)
(25/1). Noren is the second-ranked player on the European tour and he’s coming off a win in the Open De France last weekend. He finished T6 (-4) in last year’s British Open. The last time the British Open was held in Scotland two
years ago, Stenson won the event by shooting -20. He finished T11 (-3) in 2017. The 2018 British Open starts on Thursday, July 19 at Carnoustie Golf Links in Angus, Scotland. # [Odds to win the 2018 British Open](https://www.betchicago.com/golf-odds/odds)
