Garmin Forerunner 35 GPS Running Watch Review. The FR35 is the cheapest running watch in the Garmin Forerunner lineup that has a wrist heart rate monitor. It’s very similar to the Garmin Forerunner 25 but with that optical heart rate monitor and a new sleek design. Since the Forerunner35 is really an entry-level runners watch, I don’t think it will make the list for Best GPS Watches 2016; however it’s still a good option for the casual runner who wants basic running metrics as well as activity and sleep tracking. You won’t get the advanced features you see with some of the Best GPS Running Watches 2016 like the Garmin Forerunner 230, Garmin Forerunner 630 or Garmin Forerunner 735XT but overall it’s a decent option for the average runner.

In this video I also mention the Garmin vivosmart HR+ and FR25 so here are my full reviews on those:

  1. This watch is SO AWESOME! I got it on the day it came out with the white band and I'm in love! My only gripe is that the vibrational motor isn't strong enough to be a silent alarm.

  2. Does the FR 35 tell you how many hours of rest time you should take before your next work out like the FR 620 with the HRM?
