Masters 2018: Jack Nicklaus
The Nicklaus family celebrate with the crowd at Augusta

The 2018 Masters is well underway at Augusta and there have already been so many incredible talking points.

The return of Tiger Woods and the resurgent form of Rory McIlroy have all been hotly discusses, but there is one moment thus far which has stolen the headlines.

Jack Nicklaus, the most decorated golfer in history, has clearly passed on his incredible genes.

His grandson, Gary, was taking part in the historic Par Three competition, and managed to sink his shot on the last hole.

The shot was so good, it even managed to reduce the elder Nickluas to tears!

Writing on his Twitter account, he said: “With all due respect to @themasters, allow me to put my 6 Green Jackets in the closet for a moment and say that I don’t know if I have had a more special day on a golf course. To have your grandson make his first hole-in-one on this stage…. WOW!

“Where, Tom Rinaldi, does this moment rank for me among @TheMasters memories? No. 1 What does it mean? Everything. And certainly enough to make this old man cry. What a day! @espn”
