The PGA Tour makes a return to TPC Deere Run for the John Deere Classic. Bryson DeChambeau will look to defend his title against many well known players in the field this week.
Here is a look at some of the players to watch for this week:
Joaquin Niemann – He has shined ever since turning pro this year. He has 4 top 10 finishes in only 8 starts this year. Niemann had a T-5 last week at the Greenbriar.
Francesco Molinari – His strong finish at the Quicken Loans National was very impressive. He pretty much lapped the field in Washington D.C. Molinari also played well at the U.S. Open and will look keep up the good play going into the Open Championship.
Steve Sticker – A three time champion here at the John Deere. He always seems to be in the mix at TPC Deere Run. It is hard to forget his chip in to win this tournament a few years ago.
Zach Johnson – He always seems to excel on this course. It is a homecoming after playing college golf at nearby Drake University. He will look to take home his second win at the John Deere. It will be nice to see his caddie wave his hands after making a clutch birdie late on Sunday
Byrson DeChambeau – He took home the title last year by one stroke. DeChambeau has been playing well as of late. He was a recent winner at Muirfield Village. He has a great chance at repeating this year.
