If you had doubts about the Warriors re-signing Nick Young, the free-agent guard may have sealed his own fate Tuesday. Young told a TMZ cameraman that “everybody needs to do cocaine.” The cameraman found Young outside of 1 OAK, a nightclub in Los Angeles, and asked the guard about his feelings on Canada legalizing marijuana. But Young blew past the marijuana question. “I want people to pass cocaine,” the guard said. “Everybody needs to do cocaine.” Young defended himself on Twitter, saying “Y’all no me … I just say Sh**” Andre Iguodala replied only to correct his teammate’s grammar: “*know.”

The Warriors forward will defend another title — his Best Championship Performance ESPY. Durant won last year when he led the Warriors to the NBA title in his first season with the team. He is again nominated for his MVP performance this month. He goes against Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, World Series MVP George Springer and Villanova’s Donte DiVincenzo, most outstanding player of the men’s Final Four. The ESPYs will honor the past year’s top sports achievements and moments July 18. The ceremonies will air on ABC. Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick will be the first woman to host.
