“Now that our new season is about to begin, there is an underlying excitement, and we’re delighted to announce the first eight events of the PGA TOUR Series-China season,” said Paul Johnson, Executive Vice President of International Tours and Tournaments, PGA TOUR. “With this new season upon us, the players are ready to go, knowing if they play well throughout 2018, the Tour is in their future and then, hopefully, the PGA TOUR. The fact that three out of every four players on the PGA TOUR are former Tour players speaks to how competitive and strong the Tour is.”

The top-five money-winners on the PGA TOUR Series-China Order of Merit will earn 2019 Tour membership. China’s Zecheng Dou and Xinjun Zhang, who finished first and fifth on the 2016 earnings’ chart, respectively, played on the 2017 Tour and progressed to become current PGA TOUR players, with Dou winning the Digital Ally Open outside Kansas City.
