Rory McIlroy found himself confronted by a foul-mouthed US fan at Hazeltine as Europe set up a tense final day at the Ryder Cup.

The Ulsterman had the lout ejected after he shouted abuse, while Ian Poulter had another spectator thrown out for heckling Danny Willett.

McIlroy, who won his fourball alongside Belgian rookie Thomas Pieters, said: “The plan is to try to get them fired up and that gets us fired.

“You have to keep your concentration, but it’s tough at times.
“It fuels me a lot. The more they shouted, the better we played.

“I hope they shout at us tomorrow.”

Sadly it reflects a lot that is happening in America these days. Win at all costs. Look at their politicians.

All fans are sheeple, all of em. NFL and MLB zombies are the biggest lemmings on this earth. No wonder guys are getting $1 million per pitch or can't even catch a ball but still get payed.

I thought Golf was a gentlemans game of precision calculation timing and keeping your head under pressure but having dimwitts as spectators is something I have never seen before at this level wtf ??
