The frantic race of a homeless man in a stolen Community Watch vehicle made him cross a golf course where he almost hit a snowbird preparing for the putt.
The community surveillance vehicle was seized at 9:30 am Sunday near Boone Gate in the historic part of the villages. An attendant at the door was worried when a suspicious man approached him and claimed that someone was "nibbling his head." A Community Watch supervisor arrived at the scene and, while he was out of his vehicle, the man stole and left.

The suspect was identified as Jessie Charles Webb, 30, who was known to be wanted under two arrest warrants in Georgia. Webb initially complained of calf pain and was taken to the Leesburg Regional Medical Center, where he was released for medical reasons.
While he was escorted from the hospital, he tried to move away from an officer. Webb also tried to grab the taser from the agent.
Webb faces many charges and was booked for a $ 34,000 bail at Lake County Jail.
