The PPV Price For Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson Is Reportedly Out

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are playing what should be an incredibly-hyped one-on-one match at the end of November. The two star golfers both took to Twitter last week to announce the news.

“It’s on,” Tiger said.

“I bet you think this is the easiest $9M you will ever make,” Phil replied.

Woods and Mickelson will be doing match play. The match, taking place the Friday after Thanksgiving, will be available on PPV.

The price is reportedly out, per James Miller.

It’s $24.99.

That seems a bit steep – some were speculating that it would be in the $10-$15 range – but it’s Tiger vs. Phil, one on one, in an event we haven’t seen before. People will buy it.

Tiger is excited.

“We’re going to have fun doing something that’s never been done before have on pay-per-view, trying to showcase golf in a different way,” Woods told reporters. “I was able to do something similar to this under the lights, the Battle of the Bridges and Sherwood [in the early 2000s]just trying to do something different.

“I think it’s going to be fun for everyone because we’re in a different era than we were in those days. We’re able to showcase golf at a different time and different platforms and I think this will be fun.”

Stay tuned.
