Notes: Tiger Woods is playing the tournament for the first time since 2013, when he won at Bay Hill for the eighth time. … This is the 25-year anniversary of the last time Arnold Palmer made the cut on the PGA Tour. Ben Crenshaw won the tournament. Palmer tied for 71st. … The only time Woods missed the cut at Bay Hill was in 1994 when he was a senior in high school. It was his first time shooting 80 at a PGA Tour event. … Justin Rose is the only player from the top five in the world in the field. … Also playing are Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson, Hideki Matsuyama, Bubba Watson, Jason Day and Rickie Fowler. … Matsuyama is playing for the first time since he withdrew from the Phoenix Open with a wrist injury. He has missed the last five weeks. … Former Masters champion Danny Willett, who has dropped out of the top 200 in the world, is playing for the first time in America since the PGA Championship in August.

Notes: Paula Creamer makes her 2018 debut after missing the last six months because of a left wrist injury that required surgery. This is her 14th season Nordqvist shot a 61 in the third round last year on her way to a two-shot victory. … Wie won the HSBC Women’s World Championship for her fifth LPGA title. The only victory on the U.S. mainland was the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open at Pinehurst No. 2. The other victories were in Canada, Mexico, Hawaii and Singapore.
